LifeScan is delighted to join the Princess Royal Training Awards Class of 2024!
We are thrilled to announce that The LifeScan Graduate Programme has been recognised as one of the 52 outstanding training programmes honoured by the Princess Royal Training Awards in 2024!
This prestigious Award celebrates organisations that demonstrate a profound commitment to learning and development. With skills training recognised as key to improving productivity challenges, investing in impactful training programmes that nurture and retain both new and existing talent is more important than ever.
The LifeScan Graduate Programme aims to attract talented and diverse young people to the company and to create a leadership pipeline for the future. The success of the programme is defined by attracting high quality candidates who make a meaningful contribution to the company while they are here, and by their enjoyment of it. We want to retain those who complete the scheme for as long as possible and see them progress through the company. The programme consists of four rotations, each lasting approx. 5.5 months. This is supported by the Graduate Steering Committee and the various teams and managers who support the rotations.
Rotating through different teams is intended to give graduates a comprehensive overview of the company, an expansive professional network and an understanding of the compliance and regulatory requirements of working in the medical device industry. As well as helping to develop knowledge of our products & processes and required skills such as project management, problem solving, team-working and communication.
Our Princess Royal Training Award is testament to LifeScan’s dedication to our people, our commitment for developing talent and embracing new ideas.
