How do I submit a grant request? When you have collected all of the required information, click the "Submit Request" tab, then the "Start Application" button to begin the application process.

When I click on the 'Submit Request' or 'Start Application' link, nothing happens. When you click on either of these links, a new window should open with the option to select 'Create New Grant Request' or 'View Grant Request Status'. If this new window does not appear, check to see if your pop-up blocker is enabled and turn it off.

Can I save a request in progress and return to it later? No, the system will not save your request. Please have all required documents completed and available before you begin the application process.

I am having trouble attaching multiple documents. How can I get you the information? The system allows a maximum of six (6) attachments per grant application. If you have more than six separate attachments, please combine them (e.g. merge multiple Word documents in one file) and submit. Zip files are not permitted.

How will I know if my grant request was successfully submitted? Once your request has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation page with an identification number for your files. You will also receive a confirmation email.

Can I submit more than one request at a time? Multiple requests can be submitted through the system, but you will need to submit a separate request for each program.

Can I submit one application for multiple programs? One application can be submitted for a related series of programs, such as a grand rounds series. The title, objectives and budget for each program must be included.

How will I know if my request has been approved or rejected? You will receive an email notification once a decision has been reached on your funding request. You can check the status of your grant online by clicking on the "Check Application Status" link on any page.

How long will it take to receive a decision? Notifications are based on when your application was submitted. Once all required documentation is submitted, it can take up to 30 days to receive a decision.

If my grant request is approved and the program takes place shortly after the notification period, will I receive my payment in time for the program? If your grant request is approved, we will do our best to process your contract and payment in a timely fashion, but cannot guarantee that you will receive payment prior to your program date.

Will my funding be made public? If your grant is accepted, LifeScan, Inc. reserves the right to post the information regarding funding under this agreement on a publicly accessible web site. This includes the identity of the recipient, the monetary value of the funding, the purposes for such funding, and other information as LifeScan, Inc. determines appropriate.

What if my request is missing some necessary information? Will the company contact me? Submissions that are missing required documentation will be rejected and you will be notified. If any documentation requires clarification or additional detail, we will contact you.

I do not have access to a scanner and am unable to upload the required documents to complete my grant application. What do I do? Scanners are generally available to the public at your local library, grocery store, post office, or commercial copying center. If you do not have access to one of these resources, please contact CRenfroe@its.jnj.com.
